Dear Players and Parents of the current under 12  teams
 
We are very interested in St Ives FC continuing the development of players past under 12 age group and this was commenced in 2018 with an under 12 program for which we would like to continue again making some improvements and hopefully entering teams in Division 1 (super league) in at least the NSFA U12 competition next year.
 
The NSFA Super league requirements are :
  • Two training sessions a week.
  • Minimum Coach Accreditation of Skill Training and / or Game Training Certificate (or higher e.g. FFA C-Licence).
  • Super League coaches must also be a member of the Inspire Program.
  • Super League coaches must attend a minimum of one Super League Coach Education workshop facilitated by NSFA.
We are interested in Grading our Under 13 teams in November 16th and 23th from TBA for 1 ½ hour sessions and then an invitation to go to those selected in first week December that must be confirmed and a deposit of $200 made by the 10th December. We will be selecting 15 players for each team. 

We estimate the cost of the program will be $960. (to be confirmed when NSFA, FNSW and FFA fees confirmed for 2020)

How the cost is made up –
  • Registration Cost 2020 - $300 (TBC)
  • NSFA facilities levy for 2020 (new levy just introduced) - $15
  • Training twice a week for February to August (break for 1 week in each school holiday) Field bookings, lights and coaching costs for 54 session and 17-18 games
  • Training gear.
You can see we have included the Standard membership fee so that you understand the estimated total cost as we are yet to understand NSFA fees for next year or council ground hire fees. This year for example to be involved in CoDE program ($645) + rego ($300) + preseason training ($120) for those involved = $1065 so you can see the club is trying to get this program off the ground by covering some of the costs.

We will be sourcing coach’s that have all the above credentials.

Team Manager
The team/s will team a team manager to look after the day to day running of the team during the season.

Club membership
As in previous years, actual registration with St Ives for the 2020 season will be by www.myfootballclub.com.au and will open in January 2019. This registration is required where you can use your Active Kids Voucher (if it has not been used for 2020). Further notes will go out re how to register in January 2020.

Training, Games and Competitions
Training will commence in February 2020. Training days during the season are likely to be Tuesday’s and Thursdays – 5:30pm to 7pm. Games will commence in first weekend April and we will try to secure at least two trial games in March.
More details on grading dates, training dates and times will be emailed in October 2019.
